Founder and CEO
Julia Cheek is the CEO and founder of Everlywell, the digital health company poised to disrupt the 25 billion dollar lab testing industry by providing consumers with at-home lab tests that include insightful, easy-to-understand results. Founded in 2015, the company has raised $50 million in funding, scaled to tens of millions in sales, and is now sold in Target and CVS stores nationwide. Everlywell has earned a variety of industry accolades from AdAge, Business Insider and Techcrunch and was named one of Fast Company’s Most Innovative Companies in 2019.
Before founding Everlywell, Julia worked in corporate development and strategy, most recently as the Vice President of Corporate Strategy at MoneyGram International. She attended Vanderbilt University and earned her MBA from Harvard Business School where she graduated as a Baker Scholar with high distinction. A seasoned entrepreneur who has taken the stage at conferences like Fortune’s Most Powerful Women Summit and SXSW, she is passionate about two things: increasing accessibility in healthcare and inspiring the next generation of women leaders. In 2020, she was named one of the 100 women breaking glass ceilings and changing the world by Create & Cultivate.
She serves on a variety of boards, is active in the Ceresa program and serves on the advisory council for Women@Austin. She’s also an investor in her own right, having invested in a dozen early-stage startups to date. Julia is a former multiple World Champion equestrian, officially retiring in 2009. These days, she’s focused on two things: running Everlywell and being a new mom.
