Angel Gregorio is becoming one of the District of Columbia’s most recognized Next-Gen, black female entrepreneurs and influencers of our time. Angel is the founder and owner of The Spice Suite, a growing community-centric spice boutique, located in the city’s Takoma Park community. The Spice Suite is aimed at not only providing its patrons with unique, interactive culinary experiences, but was also established with a mission to support and empower other local grass-root business owners to maximize their own potential and success. Voted Best Spice Shop in Washington City Paper’s Best of DC, The Spice Suite offers fresh spice blends and cooking oils from around the world, handcrafted and customized to disrupt the typical dining experience.

Since embarking on her self-proclaimed “food is fashion” journey, Angel and her business has been featured on a variety of local and national media platforms, such as the Washington Post, Martha Stewart, Beyonce’s Black Parade, XoNecole, and Essence.com. Her love for fashionable flavors and natural gifts in the kitchen also landed her a spot in the Top 40 of Gordon Ramsay’s MasterChef, Season 8.

Angel has demonstrated a long-standing commitment to improving the lives of the city’s most at-risk and vulnerable youth and families. Angel is living a dream she didn’t even know she had as a real life SpiceGirl. Her favorite quote, “Start now, Perfect Later” has been the motto of her business journey.
